Røros-Tweed Blankets
|
 Røros-Tweed blankets are made from 100% pure new Norwegian wool and are MADE IN NORWAY. Selected wool from sheep grazing on fresh Norwegian mountain pastures ensures you soft, airy, comfortable blankets – robust enough to remain beautifully functional for many years.
There is no substitute for wool. Wool is a natural product with unique properties. Wool can absorb moisture without losing its remarkable ability to insulate. In addition, wool is naturally flame retardant and dirt repellent – and environmentally friendly.
Røros-blankets, renowned for their innovative designs, add warmth and harmony to any setting. Our designers gather inspiration from the Norwegian landscape, as well as from urban trends and classical forms.
 Røros Tweed produces two types of blankets: beautiful, traditionally woven blankets with fringe and Jacquard woven blankets edged in yarn. With Jacquard technique weaving, each thread in the warp may be lifted individually, giving innumerable possibilities for intricate patterns. Jacquard blankets have reverse patterns and colours on the opposite side.
