Denise Shaw was recently honored at the White House for her design and painting of the White House Easter Egg representing New York State. Her work has been auctioned at Sotheby's New York and has been exhibited internationally and throughout the United States including: The Museum of Arts and Design, The Park Avenue Armory, the Swiss Institute and La Guardia College/CUNY in New York City; Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, the University of North Carolina in Charlotte and Metropolitan Dade College in Miami. She has participated in public art forums: designing and painting a cow for the Cow Parade NYC 2000 and designing and painting a dog sculpture for the American Kennel Club 9/11 Search and Rescue Project 2002. Her short film "The Three Muses" was screened on The Independent Film Channel. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from School of Visual Arts, NYC and a Certificate in Film, Masters Program, from New York University, NYC.
